There are 10 regional Joint Director under the control of ‘Department of Higher and Technical Education’. One of them is situated at Nanded (Marathwada). The jurisdiction of this office is equal to the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded’s jurisdiction.(i.e. Senior Colleges in the Districts Nanded / Latur / Parbhani & Hingoli). There are 97 Grant-in-aid Senior colleges & 1 University.
